I put it on my new helmet
After 2 weeks I've taken 3 Direct hits to the mask, and one to my throat guard. I can honestly say I've only felt one, and that one came at a weird angle off the catchers helmet. It's a bit heavier than I expected, but well worth it. I did 5 games Saturday and felt great after it.
At 57, all the protection I can get, the better.

Great baseball bag for a great price holds my 3 gloves batting helmet and catchers geer. Lots of zippered pockets for balls, batting gloves, etc.
